  • CounterStrike and G200?

    Hi!

I´ve got an Matrox G200 and there occurs a small annoying problem when I
play CS. The ingame graphics looks fine at 640*480 but when I hit the [TAB]
to show the scores i can only see about the 2-3 top scores. The rest are
just squares instead of letters. Hard to explain but thats how it looks.
This goes for all textmenus inside the game, such as the Buy-menu.
When the game starts, it reads could´nt load d3dG200.cfg(or something like
that) and I think this is the problem. In the config menu I have set the
    graphics to: D3D and 640*480.

Does anyone know what I should do? My matrox drivers are v 4.11.01 .2520.

    Tips, help etc grately appreciated...

    /Pontus

I haven't had my G200 for a while, but I remember this being a D3D problem. How is OpenGL speed on your system?
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

Oh, I solved the problem. I just needed to upgrade my drivers even though the ones I got weren´t that old. Right now I´m using D3D and it works great!
