Please help me fix my OpenGL problem !!

I need help badly guys.

I own a Matrox Millennium 32mb DH and would like to play CS (Counter-Strike) using OpenGL (because my friends told me CS will run faster with OGL, true?).

What I encountered is I chose my CS to run on OpenGL but it cannot load the map and there comes a prompt stating "Video mode not available" or something close to that. Which means OpenGL is missing!

I tried GLsetup and installed, now what's the big idea? I am using the latest drivers for my card, alternatively tried older drivers too and doesn't seem to help. That's why I felt this forum is too important.

And one more thing, I cannot run CS with bus mastering enabled. I can run Unreal Tournament with bus mastering using D3D. But bus mastering cannot even work with CS while bus mastering is on.

I am sure my G400 is not faulty as I got it not long ago. I am using Win 98 SE.

Ok, steps:

1. Get the latest drivers for Win98 (posted yesterday!).
2. Uninstall your current drivers.
3. Install the new drivers.

AVOID GLSETUP LIKE THE PLAGUE IT IS!

As for your busmastering problem, that IS your opengl problem. If you can't run busmastering you can't run.

So make sure:

1. There's nothing in the PCI slot next to the G400.
2. The G400 isn't sharing an IRQ.
3. The G400 is on an IRQ 9 or higher (5 is RIGHT OUT).

If this all fails, get back to us with a list of your IRQ's and other hardware.
