I did flash to the 1.9 BIOS, new driver actually seemed to cause more problems with hardware acceleration turned on. And yes, I uninstalled the old drivers with the utility prior to installing the new driver. BG2 just won't work properly with hardware acceleration for me. IRQ for the card isn't being shared either.

This PowerPro program you have, is it set to be "always on top"? I have WinAmp set that way, and it doesn't go away either. It's fine if I kill it or minimize it before running though.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. These drivers wont allow overclocking the G400 though so this is not in my opinion a upgrade!
