Fog is now working on my pc in NFS5:PU/Porsche2000 with the 5.20 drivers!
I am not sure because this is due to having a P3 class CPU (which someone reported for the 6.x drivers for Win9x earlier), or due to a driver fix. Can someone with a Celeron or similar CPU please test this?
The best way to test this is to drive the Schwarzwald circuit, and looking at the foggy effect between the entrance of the woods all the way to the village in the middle of the woods.
With fog disabled in the DirectX driver of NFS:PU, this foggy effect disappears, and the screen gets much darker in that area too.
Be sure to enable fog in NFS:PU if you've disabled it before, by opening dx7z.dll (located in Drivers\, length 155648) in a hex-editor and change byte at offset 0x4a27 from 00 to 01
