How the heck to get past a level in STV: EF?

Although I must say I used the no clip cheat first, I went back to the large-canon-ship and looked for a way to enter beyond the rubble without cheating.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? And does he or she have a solution? I tried firing sticky grenades, and using the faser on the grid at the back of that weird stasis room, but none worked.
Going over and underneath the rubble didn't work either.

I hear someone say that he's found a grate that could open, but I haven't found this person yet.

If you know it, please tell it to me?

If I remember correctly and we are talking about the same level, there are some boxes
that need to be shot to reveal the floor
level passage.Just look around.
