    Thanks, I got the higher resolution choices now -- 1024 x 768 and some other higher value that I can't remember now.

    Odd thing though, I don't see any "in game" difference between 600 x 800 and 1024 x 768. Still looks OK and plays well

    Other kid's rig: Athlon 2700+; ASUS A7N8X mobo; 512MB PC3200 ram; GF4 Ti4600; Maxtor 80GB; SB Live; Cambridge 2.1; NEC FE991SB; Liteon DVD-ROM

      I'm with Beezer here. I expected a better geometric detail and less jagged edges.

        I think the only differences in visual quality at that time were the cars getting the 'shine', and that you could see the headlights in the fog
