  • g200 problem with fifa2000 and/or 3dmark2000, win98se

    hello,

i have some problems with a matrox g200 (8mb, agb, actual bios, actual 6.04 drivers). if i started fifa2000, my players are all yellow and my playfield was white. also i have some interesting, but wrong colors in 3dmark2000 (helitest, the landscape is pink and not green).

i tried to fix the problem with different bios setups (e.g. changing agp texture size etc.) but there was no possitive effect. i have no shared irq on the g200.

i use a dfi kv6b+/66 board with a amd k2500, 128 mb, sb128pci. os is win98se, i have installed the latest drivers for the via chipset and have the latest board bios version, too.

    any suggestions ?

a new bios for the matrox cards have come out a lil while ago... maybe you should try updating that..

you could also try changing to agp1x or disabling it alltogether... and if it works, you at least know what the problem is...
