When enabling 'high' geometric detail in q2a does it pose that much of a performance hit?

In powerdesk, enabling 'use 32bit zbuffering' actually Increase performance?

I use pd 5.52 for g200 - but why did matrox decide to revert the lastest drivers back to 5.41? was there bugs in 5.52?

Does anyone here actually play q3a on a modem, successfully? Does reducing your resolution reduce lag?

If anything it should decrease performance.
