Rune was a lot to slow in D3D in 800*600*32... so I thought to switch to OpenGL at the same res.... the game incredibely speeded up, but it's kind of unplayable like this.... Anybody had the same prob... any suggestion?
Of course it's fast!! You're not texturing. I also kept the game in D3D, since it is UT-ish.
Turn the shadows down to just blob, consider 16bpp color (but I think I kept it in 32bpp). You've got to get it fluid though, the game has much more complex scenes later on.

I can play Rune only about 10 second, then I get Exception 8-((((
What can I do ?!?
(Unreal and Unreal Tournament worx flawless)

Marwyn, maybe it's a incompatibility problem with win2k.... I'm having no problem with this game on win98. Anyway if it is really a problem with the OS then I'll tell you, I was going to install w2k tonight on a spare HD to see how it run in my PC.
