G400 Marvel Dual-Head + MAME in DOS, how?

How do you get Dual-Head to run dos games while running Win98?

I have a g400 Marvel, with latest bios and PD 6.01. I am having trouble running dual-head to TV while running MAME (a dos program) in Windows 98.

When I start MAME, via Arcade@Home frontend, I see the dos command strings on the TV output, but as soon as MAME kicks in, I see nothing.

Is there a reason why the G400 cannot do dual-head for dos programs in windows?

Use the BIOS package to enable DOS to TV out ...

(i.e. run PBiosWin.exe, click "update ..." and then choose "change DOS TV output settings")

PS: just to avoid confusion, this will enable only a cloning mode for DOS, i.e. no real dualhead !!!

I already did that.

I see the dos commands on TV as MAME starts up, but once fully loaded and running, nothing is displayed on the TV.
