Problem with Gunman Chronicles

If I jump from the game to the menu and back, or if I try to load another saved position (not quickload). I still see the menu background, however I can "move" and "shoot" and I can hear all the related sounds. Have anybody similar problem?

I have a similar problem when playing LAN games (it only ever happens in LAN games though).

Try hitting Esc to get back to the menu, and then selecting Resume Game. That clears it up for me.

I think it's some bizzare Half-Life related problem.

My friend has Celeron with TNT2 and he has no problems with this game. So it is mostly Half-life+G400 related problem (I had similar problems with Half-life too)

Ah, I should probably have mentioned that my problem occured with the G400MAX, and my current card, a GF2 Ultra.

I would tend to think that it is HL rather than video card/video driver problems.
