Help? G400 MAX DH Drivers ??

I got a biig problem!

First i'm runing the 5.25 drivers (very old)
but they seem to bee the only stable ones!

I have the latest via drivers and DirectX7.0a
8.0 Does not work

Hmm.. where to begin ...
games: "Swat3" I have a biig proble with
water, mirrors and reflectiv surfaces..
they continue to the edge of the screen ..
very wierd ... the same thing is in
"I'm going in"

I get only 2400 marks on 3dmark2000!!

If i install newer drivers the system crashes
after a few minutes from startup..

sometimes (no mater what drivers) Win'98
doesen't boot always correctly .. it halts
just before all the icon appear (and a
colourful line appears in the top of the screen).

it's not a heat problem (system 23, CPU 30)

i'v changed the card already ones .. it
didn't help ...

i'v swapped the card in the system (to a
Riva TNT my old card ..) and it had no
problems with that card so i belive it is
the G400&VIA what is the problem ...

Anyone got an idea??
