Apparently it's not OS related. I'm on Win2K and I get no textures. I've been playing with driver settings and the Matrox tweak thingy OGL section but no textures.

There's a debugger.txt file listing some warnings and a lot of 'failed to locate...' stuff. The startup.txt file seems okay.

    No textures

      just a rough guess:

maybe AGP texturing is not enabled on your system, and ONI needs to have more texture memory than is available on your G400?

Don't really know what else it could be

PowerStrip 3 informs me that everything is working within expected parameters (DIME, SBA, AGP2X, apt 128MB). The OGL initialization output from ONI looks okay too, I think:

        Code:
        OpenGL platform initialization
        Using standard Windows gamma adjustment
        opengl color bits = 16
        opengl depth bits = 16
OpenGL vendor = Matrox Graphics Inc.
        OpenGL renderer = Matrox G400
        OpenGL version = 1.1.3 Oct 26 2000
        OpenGL extensions = GL_ARB_multitexture GL_ARB_texture_env_add GL_Autodesk_facet_normal GL_EXT_abgr
         GL_EXT_bgra GL_EXT_compiled_vertex_array GL_EXT_packed_pixels GL_EXT_stencil_wrap GL_EXT_texture_edge_clamp
         GL_EXT_texture_env_add GL_EXT_vertex_array GL_KTX_buffer_region GL_SGIS_multitexture GL_WIN_swap_hint
        WGL_EXT_swap_control
        multitexturing is available ...
        multipass being used
        OpenGL supports 2 texturing units
        wglSwapIntervalEXT supported; vsync= 1
To avoid the obvious, I tried 32 bpp first, but none of the ONI settings seem to have any effect.

Downloaded it. Installed it. Ran it. Bumped the res up to 1024x768x32bit with grahics quality set to max and everything seems to to be OK here.

Actually, I peeked into my startup.txt and found something interesting...

            OpenGL platform initialization
            Using standard Windows gamma adjustment
            opengl color bits = 16
            opengl depth bits = 16
OpenGL vendor = Matrox Graphics Inc.
            OpenGL renderer = Matrox G200
            OpenGL version = 1.1.3 Aug 18 2000
            OpenGL extensions = GL_Autodesk_facet_normal GL_EXT_abgr GL_EXT_bgra GL_EXT_compiled_vertex_array GL_EXT_packed_pixels GL_EXT_stencil_wrap GL_EXT_texture_edge_clamp GL_EXT_vertex_array GL_KTX_buffer_region GL_WIN_swap_hint WGL_EXT_swap_control
            multipass being used
            OpenGL supports 0 texturing units
            wglSwapIntervalEXT supported; vsync= 0

OpenGL supports /0/ texturing units? Maybe this is why I'm getting no textures at all?
