I agree with Liquid Snake that it should be pronounced by saying each letter separtly. And if you do say it as one sound it should be Muuu with the long u sound not Mooo the short o sound.

My logo is on the way. The logo is actually very simple. I can edit its colors, and I can edit the dropshadow (it´s a tad heavy). I didn´t do nothing with skulls or blood ´cause, actually I think it sucks a little... I tried to do something more like a terrible chinese-mafia-clan-logo.
The logo has nothing Unreal Tournament about it, but maybe if I stick in the UT logo somehow...

This is Alec's logo. He sent it to me in e-mail. (see above message by Alec)
I think it is kinda cool. What do you guys think? He is open for suggestions. Maybe if we add a few skulls and some blood (just kidding Alec).

Muu, Moo or M-U... I say pronounce both letters individually..
Kinda reminds me of:
How do you pronounce 'Matrox'? Is it:
a) MATT-ROX
b) MAY-TROX
c) MA'-ROX
d) summink else?
Answers on a postcard to the usual address...

Great job Alec!
It's something quite different than I think most of us were expecting, but very well done. I think we should use it.
By the way, I don't think it much matters how we pronounce since for the most part we all communicate in written form.... and I think we all agree on how MU is spelled...

Is there a way to give the letters in Alec's logo a little texture? Maybe give them some depth or go with a more metallic look. I like the logo, but the letters are just flat black and just kinda lay there. Who knows how to make them pop out a bit?
As for the phonics lesson, I think that MU (pronounced Moo) is way more fun than all of the other pronunciations. I refer to us as the "Moo Clan" when I mention our games to my buddies. here's an example: "I played a match with the Moo Clan last night and we got the crap kicked out of us". (Or something to that effect)
At any rate, as Beezer pointed out, it doesn't really matter since we are communicating in a form that makes pronunciation a non-issue. You say tomato, I say tomato. See? makes no sense, now does it?

Here's the thing, the logo must be no bigger then 200x200 pixels. That is the max size that we can put on the ladder site's.
Here's another one I did.

Good, Oboy.
I sent Kindness a 2nd version. The logo I sent now has the UT logo on it, and this is for the Clan when playing UT. For other games, simply replace the UT logo with another one. This way, our team can be valid for more games, like Half-Life, etc..
Regarding the orange color, you may change it to the one you want, depending on the mood .
The logo is originally made in Adobe Illustrator 9.0, so the artwork is on a professional vector format (except the Matrox and the Unreal logos), thus having the possiblity of being edited, exported into any size we want and also into Photoshop. It also has a transparent background, so that we can put it on any background color. I hope someone in the Clan has Illustrator, so that he can open the logo at home and edit it if he wants...
I don´t play online for now, but I offer you the logo with pleasure.
Tell me the person for whom I must send the material by e-mail, if you´re interested.
Bye, Alec
