D3D vs OGL for UT

ok,

here are the shots with openGL: map (domination) dom-sesmar. You can easily see that the floor's texture is in 16 bits.

Great image quality, but very slow.


The 2 shots have been take wothout changing anything except the drivers mode(D3D/OpenGL).

The floor is more détailled on the D3D. I have take some hours to test all what can be test. In fact more trouble than only the missing 32bitZbuffer in OpenGL.


I have texture corruption in DS9:the fallen (whitch is using the UT 3D engine) and in UT. This texture corruption does not appear if i use the OpenGL32.dll from TurboGL, funny isn't it !

Need your help:

1) i would like to know is someone is able the get the same détailled floor on the dom-sesmar map in opengl than i have with D3D.

2) I suspect itt can come from my 16 Mo G400. I mean i believe that users who have a 32 Mo card doesn't have the same trouble.
