Millenium 2, Voodoo 2 and Mechwarrior4

Hello everyone

I have a Matrox Millenium 2 AGP and a Diamond Monster Voodoo 2 accelerator which have performed great for most games in the last 2 years now.
However, the two of them don't like Mechwarrior4.
With the old original drivers Mechwarrior4 starts and runs fine once and only once. Then it displays an error message.
With the new drivers for both cards Mechwarrior4 starts every time but with messed up graphics which eventually freeze the game.

But tech couldn't help me there, because this problem might be bad team-play of the two graphic cards I have.
Can anyone here help?

If thee have not consulted the problem - that describe the specification of thy computer.
While for me stands MW4, I shall try out to help.
