i asked the guys on the server and they said it was some hack and not a mod?

and there are flying guys in there too!!! check the sniper spot pic..

You can summon Unreal monsters in UT in the same way as in Unreal.
I can't remember the console command right now tho, could just be summon <monstername>

I guess if they were summoned on the server then they could appear in multiplayer.

The command is "summon unreali.[opponent]"

For example:
summon unreali.babycow
summon unreali.cow
summon unreali.nalirabbit
summon unreali.queen

I love playing around with these. When I get really bored I start up a CTF game run into the enemy base and summon a queen. Heh, there is no end to the amusement factor.

There is a hack to bring "Unreal" characters into "Unreal Tournament". It is something that you type into the control panel (I don't remember what it is). I didn't know that it could be done in a multiplayer game, though. I imagine that it is something that the guy running the server is doing. The "Unreal" characters are actually pretty easy to beat with the "UT" weapons, but it is pretty cool to see those giant monsters in an environment you are not use to seeing them in (like Deck16).
