Thief 2 skies

Thief 2 runs great at 800x600 apart from when there's a large area of sky to display ( say, in the second mission down by the docks ) when the frame rate nosedives. Selecting the lower-quality options doesn't help. It's not really a problem, since you should never need to move fast in Thief, but... Any suggestions / opinions ?

The "Shipping and Receiving" mission is BRUTAL for frame rate, especially near the ship...there are other points in the game with some slow-downs, but they aren't nearly as bad. Gameplay will be much smoother once you complete this mission.

I hope you enjoy ThiefII as much as I did.
It is BY FAR one of my most favorite games...
I can't wait for Thief III!

Yeah, that's an excelent game.... but I found the last mission very hard... I got stuck about a week before I found out how to end it.

Does someone know's when the 3rd one should be released?

I had very little slowdowns in that game... I play at 1024*768.
