somethings wrong with my g400 in counter-strike...

thanks for the tips, but i don't think it is a heat problem. my case is already open and i live in california (very cold this time of year). plus i have a decent cooling device under my g400 seated in the pci slot under the agp slot. and mga tweak no longer runs when i start up my computer anymore (i took it out of startup), but when i load it the options are always back to the overclocked settings, could this be the problem even though mgatweak is no longer loaded?

im gonna try switching my mouse back to ps2 and see if it still does it.

Hmm.. this maybe offtopic, but i post it anyway. =)

I noticed something wrong in Half-life after installing the latest drivers for W2k.. normally everything runs pretty smoothly and the pic is perfect, but after i save my game and it comes back to game the picture is REALLY F***ed up. i can see the geometry but all textures are wrong (looks kind of like that cool scene in matrix =)

And the funny part is when i go to the game menu and return to the game usually it fixes the problem and everything is fine again. =)

Dont know why. =)

Ps. and yeah most of my system's components ARE oc'ed but the system is ROCK SOLID and there are NO picture flaws in ANY game.

Hi PeTe,

that sounds exactly like an old driver bug ...

use the uninstaller to get rid of all traces of former PD installations and reinstall the lates PowerDesk.
