    w2k, abit bp6, g400max, quakeIII, opengl, best drivers?

    Currently quake installs and when action begins ("fight") machine locks in 1 to five seconds... hard reboot required.

    What is the preferred opengl driver for the above settup. I have fairly recent matrox w2k driver, and it doesn't work.

    I have not yet installed sp1 due to dsl problems.... if sp1 necessary to get quake to work, let me know.

    Hope this hasn't been asked a million times.... didn't see it in a search.
