  • The latest drivers killed my games!

Perhaps someone knows a workaround for this. I installed the latest drivers on my freshly reformated machine last week along with the driver that lets me use edualhead and independant resolutions in win2k. now all my direct3d games wont run right. unreal tournament wont run full screen and half life runs like molasses. i tried disabling the second monitor, and that didnt help at all. any thoughts?

Yes, it has been noted here several times. The new win2k drivers don't support 3D when in true dualhead mode, you will have to turn off dualhead completely and reboot to get 3D back. This should be fixed in the next revision or so.

Goto display properties/settings/advanced/dualhead and check "Dualhead disabled" and reboot.
