Anybody having any luck with N4? TurboGL Manager doesn't seem to recognize the game as OpenGL. I'm running in D3D with details turned as low as I can stand and the frame rate still blows. (~10 fps on the back stretch at Talladega). Replays run a solid 30+ fps. In the car in a big wreck, fps can drop to _3_!
I dl'd the Win98 OpenGL thingy, which got N4 to offer OpenGL as an option, but it just crashes. Are we going to have to wait on yet another patch for Matrox OpenGL "support"?
Seriously,
How can I get thing to run with TurboGL?
How can I disable vsynch? (that thread has encouraged me to try this)
Is there a registry hack for the G400 that enables all the goodies?
My system:
PII 400 with 128 meg o' PC100 ram
G400 DualHead 32 meg
(this system is good to excellent with HalfLife, Deus Ex, Quake II and the QIII demo.)
thanks!
