  • Any tweaks for G400

    besides the g400 tweaks
    any good software?
    in g400 tweak i can't exprience any
    different after tweak,except enable
    3d now can boost some,
in all d3d setting, both enable and disable is the same.
Can i tweak the LOD of g400?
cause the 3d visual in g400 is blur in the outer part, can i chang the log just like voodoo, nvidia or ati?
    thank for reply!

Overclock it. Thats about it. The Powerdesk drivers already do just about all the tweaking possible on the G400, so there's not much else to do. Just overclock the card. Don't bother messing with the memory timings, as the PowerDesk drivers already adjust those to optimal settings.
      Primary system specs:
      Asus A7V266-E | AthlonXP 1700+ | Alpha Pal8045T | Radeon 8500 | 256mb Crucial DDR | Maxtor D740X 40gb | Ricoh 8/8/32 | Toshiba 16X DVD | 3Com 905C TX NIC | Hercules Fortissimo II | Antec SX635 | Win2k Pro

No they donĀ“t. Try to set a G400 to 115% (150/200) either in MTSTU and Powertrip. Then tell me how it performs better. If Core and Mem is the same, the diference must be on memory timings...

I meant latency and stuffs. Not memory speed.

MGAtweak allows u to adjust CAS latency, RAS to RAS latency, RAS to CASe latency etc, via the "SDRAM/SGRAM Optimization" tab. But PD drivers already do stuffs with these settings, so ur not gonna get much (if at all) outta tweaking them.

So it's best sticking with oc'ing System PLL clock speeds.

            use 800x600x32
            don't use trilinear
            adjust detail to your CPU/RAM
            turn vsync off
