Ok, like i said, i keep you posted. Yesterday i received my replacement board from EPOX. As far as i can say, it is the same revision (1.4) i had before. Good thing: i have a renewed warranty 
I assembled the computer and actually everything is working fine. DOS Eagle is running smoothly, even with my cordless Logi mouse and I only had a soundloop crash in MW4 once. Graphics are crisp like they were meant to be and while the system "hicups" from time to time in 3D (meaning that it slows down and then speeds up again, for no apparent reason. Or it may be MW4 attempting for the 500th time to access the internet) it runs stable. I consider this issue settled once and for all (Moderator, please close the thread 
), but i would like to recommend EPOX for their swift and uncomplicated handling of the affair. I sent the board in on Monday and my replacement was here on Thursday. Two thumbs up for fresh tea!
