    nehalmistry,
We have no set time to play.
We do have an irc channel that you can check and see if anyone is playing.
    irc.gameslink.net #[MU]

Ill try and be on this Friday at about 7ET.
We have just been playing on pub servers of late.

      Hey Oboy!

Just wondering, do you have Punkbuster or any other solution for the "I suck and need to cheat" drivers from Asus?

I've come across quite a few people using them on the web as well as at Lan parties

Also, I've come up with ways to recognize as well as combat them to a point while playing against them, when I get a chance I'll put together an e-mail for u to send to [MU] clan (don't want to give it away )

      Edit:
      This is from Asus:

Umm, i know this was prolly discussed here before (maybe not), but did any of you guys notice a drop in performance when playing UT in W2K vs WinMe? I did ... and i`m not happy at all ... i wont go back to WinMe, because Win2K is waaaay better than Me or 98SE, but i was just wondering if any of you have noticed this too ...

And another thing, i`m back using 5.33 after a short ride with 5.52, which slowed my PC soooo much, esp. when entering Monitor Settings or Options or something ... Did any one of you ever encounter this?

nehalmistry: Snake-Eyes and I play almost every night. Just go into the IRC channel and look for "Pneumatic" or "Azash". All you have to do is connect to the channel through UT, double click on a name from the list of people that are in the server, and send them a message. When you send the message it will pop up an IP if the person is playing a game. All you have to do is click on that IP and you will automatically join in on the game. We use this all the time. Usually prime time is on weekend nights. In the hay day there were 15-20 people around on weekends, but now there is only about 6 or 7 of us still showing up. Hope you can make it.

Durango: What's the big deal with these drivers anyway? It just enables people to see through walls, right? They can't SHOOT through walls can they? I usually only play DM so maybe it isn't as much of a problem for me, but I could care less if they can see me on the other side of a wall. They still have to come around and kill me. I can see where it would be kind of advantageous in CTF or Assault, though. My biggest gripe is the aim-bots. There must be new ones every day or something because I was playing on a server that supposedly had CSHP and there was a kid there openly using an aim-bot. I KNEW he was using one (as did everyone else), but I checked the stats after the game. He had 30 kills and only 2 deaths (against some REALLY good players). 28 of his kills were headshots. I went into the game as a spectator and watched him play. He was jerking from victim to victim immediately, even if the nest one was behind him. He would shoot then instantly be facing the opposite direction to shoot someone behind him.

Well, to make a long story longer, I fired off an e-mail to the server administrator and told him of the problem (since this was a server on my favorites list). He replied and was VERY cool about it. He banned the guys IP and updated his Aim-Bot protection.
