Ultima Online and G400 problems

I play Ultima Online and for years now i have had to play it in 32bit mode becuase at 16bit it leaves boxed trails when i play window. anyone else have this problem and a solution for it? i had this problem with the g200 too which was why i returned it. now the g400 has the power to play it at 32 but would rather play at 16 and hopefully have more speed instead.
Any help would be appreciated

I used to play it all the time, but never had any problems with running it in 32bit color as far as speed goes. Speed isn't really determined by your computer as much as it used to be. On Ultima Online you just need a fast connection for the speed to be decent.

well true to a point.. i just upgraded from a 733 pIII to a athlon 1333 and more than tripled my movement on UO, didnt think it would make much of a differenece seeing that uo is such a old game but it did.

That is strange. The only thing I had noticed in CPU Speed, is when playing full screen compared to windowed. But then again there has been a lot of changes and updates to the client since I played it. Even since I played around with UOX. Laters.
