I stayed till 2:30 am CET, but since i havent slept much these past two days, i was too tired to stay up more.

Though we had some nice fraggin` on Elvis` server too. You, Greebe, Elvis, Kosh ... fun game ...

Ok, so, the "Kindness Reunion" went fairly well

But, how's about organising this better

I for one, would like an EU version, as the short time I played, I was enjoying pings of 250 to 3500

It was still fun playing against so many MURCers though, at one point we had 8 people I think, on 4 team deathmatch, which was pretty good as I was only in for 30mins.

So, then, to the organisation!

How's about a certain night a month for games? The first Saturday of a month (i.e. the 1st to the 7th) will be Q3, the 2nd Sat (8th-14th) will be TFC, 3rd Sat (15th-21st) CS and the last 1 or 2 will be for UT (22nd-31st).

I'm not sure if there would be enough demand for each game, but I'd think the UT fans will be up for a game a month, yea?

Let me know your opinions on this, as I personally only play CS on some EU servers, usually doing incredibly badly So, I'd much rather kick some MURCers ass, and get my ass kicked by MURCers too

And about the Shock h0, we`ll get online some day and have a training session. I`d like to play against Beezer, from what i heard, he`s a master Shock h0.

But, my Aiming went skyhigh since i started training InstaGib against bots. So play a bit of InstaGib offline and lower your mouse sensitivity bit by bit until you reach the best level for you. I`m currently @ mouse sens 2 with smoothing disabled, but still dont sacrifice mobility for it. My Aiming became much better. Also, visit the PlanetUnreal forums : http://forums.planetunreal.com/ . You will find something useful.

I think the IRC server at Gameslink.net must have evaporated. I can't connect to the server via any method now. We should open a new one on another server, or just log into the #MURC channel untill we figure something out. Anyone have enough IRC prowess to make this happen?

Sigh, I also couldn't make it this weekend like I had hoped. I had friends staying at my house for the weekend which pretty well killed my playing time. On top of that I bought a new video card, a herc Kyro II, and I can't get the damn thing to work properly, but thats a subject for another thread.

If gameslink has gone down, then lets move the official channel over to irc.enterthegame.net. A lot of people use it, including several clans that we have played in the past.

Anyway, I have to go now, cause I have family in town, and they want to <shudder> clean the basement.

Thanks for the challenging words, Oboy and Kindness. I would play using my 56k modem, if I could find it, and if I could get a dial-up account at a reasonable rate for only 4 days.

Right now ALL of my computer stuff is still in boxes, but I DID get the desk assembled, so now there's a place to put the puter, once I start unboxing it. I haven't yet had the time to get the systems set up- still unpacking other things. And then there was the weekend spent sawing, drilling, hammering, measuring (something a little out of order there, hehe) for my daughter's new wooden swing set/activity tower. (To be fair, most of it's done now, since I got the tower built, so that she can climb up into it, play in it, and slide down it's slide. But I still have to saw and assemble the two A-wings for the swing parts).

Oh well, glad some of you had fun. Make sure to get the IRC back up before Friday, so I can find you, hehe.

Hey! Maybe if IRC is working by Saturday we could try another round then?

Sorry about the continual drive-by's. I've only got 'net access from here at work at the moment, and then only for a few minutes each day, Monday through Friday only until at least Thursday (DSL, yeah baby!!). Still inprocessing the new organization. Lotsa meetings and running around, as well as trying to head home early so that I can get some more stuff done there.

Man, will I ever be glad once I can get back to a normal lifestyle and start fragging you regularly (er.. uhh.. I meant to say play UT against you, heh. That's if you can consider my life normal, lol).

I say we should have a re-do on the game this weekend. With the IRC channel running we can get our stuff together a little better. Plus, this weekend we can re-initiate Snake-Eyes back into the club
