Playing Diablo2 in D3D

Is anyone playing Diablo 2 in Direct3D with a G-200.
The game recomends that I play in D3D but the game start all garbled and stalls. I have a PII 266 with 96 Mb system ram, G200 with 16 Mb Video ram I also have a sound blaster live.
I'm using Win ME. All my driver are up to date and I'm using the lasted direct x 8a.

I played (and finished) Diablo 2 in an 8mb G200 (now own a G400) and didn´t have any problems...

Maybe if you post your system specs and software details (Windows version, DirectX version, etc., we can be able to help you...

I can't even get D2 to run the video test without crashing my system.

I Had D2 loaded a while ago under W98. Went to W2K reloaded D2 now it wont even run.....

Test starts then screen goes haywire and the machine locks..
