Problems with G450 and UT HELP

guys I have not played UT in some time. I just reinstalled it and no matter what I do. even uninstalling and installing the drivers again. UT hard locks my system when the window goes to maxmize before the opening movie sequence. I installed UT and then the 4.36 patch. any ideas?

only thjing I have installed recently except my DSL stuff is the new Highpoint beta drivers

does it only happen at 112MHz FSB or also at 100 ?

What version were the HighPoint Drivers? I have a BE6II, and use the 1.25.2, after 1.25.1 fuxxored my Win2K isntallation every time i shutdown my PC. I`d suggest you go back to the 1.25.2 (they work flawlessly for me).

Uhhh ... then you`ll have to wait for Abit to release another version of the drivers ... if they are at fault for the crashes ...

Are you running UT in OpenGL or D3D? Try starting UT in Safe Mode to see if it still freezes.

but did you ever checked your 192 MB PC 133 on
I/O-faults?

Search for a RAM-Tester!

UT find any mistake in your system even a
cabel that do not fit! (no joke)
Try it and than answer if you have still probs.

My RAM make the same probs under
UT, Diablo II LOD & Counterstrike.

After I've taken out the modul everything
works fine.
