Yep... just for G400MAX and Millenium...

I was right. I went to the front page yesterday and tried to install the drivers, but my card was listed under "Cards Not Supported By This Update" so I guess I have to keep on using Software Rendering mode until they decide to release drivers or when I get a GeForce 3. I wish there was a way for me to still use this Marvel for video editing and 2D display, since it's so crisp, but it looks like a new video card is the only way out of this. I am going to have to build a seperate gaming machine or something, now. Sheesh... I'll start saving up now, and hopefully by like February I will have enough cash to get a gaming rig going.

I'd try the drivers anyway. A lot of times the video editing series is "not supported" but things run fine.

        How can I?

I really would try them out if the setup program let me hit next. If I hit next after the screen that lists my card as not compatible it exits setup for me... Always has and it always will I'm afraid.

            Thanks

Thanks for the link. That's where I got the latest Win2K drivers 5.39 on June 12th, and the page is still the same.

Hey guess what! I've managed to get OpenGL working reliably under Win2K and I thought I better update MY thread.
It was something really simple, after spending ages messing around with the drivers and the version of the ICD dll I ran dxdiag and unbelieveably the "AGP Texture Acceleration" was disabled. After re-enabling it HL is working fine.

Thanks for all yer help at the beginning of this thread!

                Thanks

Cool. Thanks for that reply explaining how you fixced your OpenGL problems. I went to go do the same thing as you did since I thought "Hey if that's what was wrong on his machine, maybe mine is the same."

So I got there, and guess what... It said:
                AGP Texture Acceleration: Not Available

There was a enable button next to that, but it was ghosted and not pressable.

                Hmmm...
