Matrox Tweak Utility in Windows XP

I set my clock speed to 110% and then I set it permanent and restart and run 3dMark20001. I get the same score as before... so I check the Tweak Utility and the clock tweak is set to 100%.
I tried to restrat again and before running 3dMark2001 I opened the tweak utility. The clock was set to 110%. I thought, myabe it'll work this time, I ran 3dMark2001 and the same thing... back to 100%.
This happened a few times under two different user names both as Administrators... I tried running Counter-Strike and it sent it back to 100%.

Is anyone having any trouble? I was using 4.00.18 but I'm about to try the latest one available.

do you run 3D Mark in the same resolution as your desktop is ?

yep
It does give me an error message every time it starts that is to do with the 24bit textures. CS is the same although it does do it's customary switch to 640x480 and then it changes back to 1024 but @ 16bit colour... as opposed to my desktop which is 32bit
I might try running my dekstop @ 16bit and overclocking.

Maybe you should try Powerstrip ...
