Is anyone Playing EQ atm?

I'm running WinXP, G400MAX and 5.72 drivers and it seems after all the Patches to DX8 FPS have dropped in a major way.

I know that they are still patching but I would like it if others are having the same problems and could give me some feed back of their experiences.

I'm currently in Old World. Don't have SoL yet.

Before the change to DX8 everything was very smooth.

Has anyone tried other drivers?

It's Everquest, not the G400. People with many ATi and nVidia cards are also getting terrible framerates even when they're not in Luclin. I'm running a G400 MAX, Celeron 1050, 768 megs of ram, Win98, and 6.72 drivers. Rivervale, Odus, The Warrens, you name it and it's got terrible framerate.
