Yeah, I play. Just earlier today I was trying to update HL and CS. But Sierra thinks it's okay to have everyone else host the patches for them, and all the sites want my e-mail for spam purposes. Blah. Not worth it.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

I play alot.
Cheating is gone for now... But it is hard to get rid of, CS uses a REALLY old 3D-engine
Still, my G400MAX is able to push 40fps min, 50 max at 1024*768. What will my new P do?
If you live in europe I know a 32p lowping server... If you tried it, you will never play anywhere else... The best there is.

I play a lot as well. I hate cs1.4 but i still play.
I get constant 100fps at 1280x960 w/ 128X anisotropy and 4X Smoothvision FSAA. Radeon 8500 w/ AthonXP 1700+
Old G400 oc'd to Max + P3 866mhz chugged 30-60fps at 1152x864. I still miss it though.Primary system specs:

i remember the old days of counter strike.... i started in beta 5.. beta 6 and 7 was good too... i was so addicted i had a g100 and played in software mode at 400x300 but it was so fun you couldn't even notice the crap graphics... i used to play hours on end.... until 4 or 5 in the morning 2 weeks straight during christmas
right now i can't go half hour without getting bored, ... maps change a lot, weapons, money system, general gameplay is changed a lot since then....
btw, i have yet to see cheating in 1.4, it may be fixed now...<font size="1">Gigabyte GA-6VXC7-4X MoBo
