    I just did a test & opened glquakeworld windowed at 1024x512 & it worked!
    FOV works in QW but not plain quake.
    What res ratio would be best for surround gaming?

    Except that Matrox cards don't run GLquake very well
    Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

      I play QW all the time. They run quakeworld just fine.
      Dark, like all other cards, but brightened up with an idgamma pak file my Max looks the best of any card I have ever seen.
      GLQuake and GLQuakeWorld do not draw the same, so you have to set up your lighting & status bar differently for each of them.

      With dynamic lights turned off QW has better visual quality on my MAX than it does on my Voodoo3.
