[MU] match this weekend...?

    [MU] match this weekend...?

    I have the urge to get all the [MU] players together that we can this weekend for a frag session.

    Maybe we can get some new screen shots and portraits for the [MU] site...I have a feeling it's gonna be getting more popular again soon

    Sooooo....
    Who's up for it, when, and where?
    Saturday afternoon/night would be best for me.
    And what game?
    I presume most have UT, and that would probably be the popular choice.
    I also have Q3 and HL/TFC (and even Q2), but none of the newer games unfortunatly.
    A private server would be best for team pics, if anyone is running one these days...

    Drat, my machine is at a friend's house and he has DSL and all. What's the catch? His TV reception is crappy so I won't be there this weekend. Why do I need TV. Two words - World Cup.

          Saturday late sounds good for me too...I take it the plan involves meeting up on the IRC channel, then picking an empty or nearly-empty server to spew our gibs in?
          And Lizzie, of course you are in....it'll be great to get beaten like a rented mule by a 56K player. Beats Snake's DSL/Dualoptical mousing thrashings of days gone by. Maybe Beez will even try a minigun....we may have to give him beer first, though.

                Wish I could make it. We're heading back home to WV for two weeks. For the one time everyone seems ready to show up, I have to be away.

                Oh well, this should give you plenty of time to get back into shape in UT, if you haven't been playing much recently. I'm not sure yet whether it's going to be a good thing or a bad thing for me, since some of you will not only have time to get into shape, but also a nice wide-screen view of me coming at you.

                Make another date for Saturday June 15, and I'll be there. Heck, since I will have been without UT or even a computer for the whole two weeks prior, it'd even be a good chance of those of you wanting it to get in some revenge.

                    I'd love to join in on some Q3 (never got UT). I just need some serious handicapping even though I can finally play on DSL.
