Hello,
I´ve looked only at the STV-EF picture to see how great 16xFAA really works. It´s looks really great!
OTOH I still found jaggies in that picture !? I really hope that´s only a driver problem.
Thanks for the shots Kruzin, or, as Ant called you on the front page, Kursin
Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard coated bastards with bastard filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive, bubble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine. -- Dr. Perry Cox
Hey Kruzin, how does your P3-770mhz run with it? I have a p3-850, and I feel it's a dinosaur with all these nice 2+ghz processors out there. Any approximate frame rates on UT? Unfortunately I'm a poor man and am squeezing out a nugget of gold for the Parhelia and can't afford two more displays (as much as I think it'd be completely cool, and who said Parhelia wasn't for bragging rights? "Hey, I have 300fps in quake 3 with my GeforceX card" "Oh yeah, I have three monitors and can see you a lot better than you can see me! Too bad those 300fps are limited to what the server is set to, eh?")

Wah! Wah!

I have other screenies of other games also with P. Just let me know what game u are curious about, If I have it I can try to post a shot for you guys.

I'm running at 1024x768x32 in OGL (or 1280x1024x32 in D3D), with all the game details cranked up, and it's very smooth, even in heavy action. Sorry, but can't quote any frame rates.

What I would really like to see, if it wouldn't be too much trouble, would be some FAA vs. Non-FAA screenshots at, say, 1024x768.
I find it a little difficult to evaluate the FAA quality when the resolution is so large.
I really don't care what game is used for such a comparison...I would just like to see what the Parhelia's Antialiasing scheme looks like against non AA....and then compare it to a GF4.
I think I will have a _very_ hard time resisting this card when it becomes available
One other thing I was wondering...With respect to the leaked UT2003 demo floating around, how does the performance "feel" ?
well as far as the UT 2003 demo I downloaded, P ran it smooth even at 1600x1200 (with FAA 16x on) on my T-bird @ 1.33. I played almost an hour at 1600x1200 without any issues.
As far as FAA 16x 1024x768 shots I will see what I can whip up.

I have not tried the leaked UT2003. I will wait for the real one.
But you do happen to be in luck.
When I first got the card, one of the first things I did was take 3 pics in UT. One with no AA, one with 4xFSAA, and one with 16xFSAA. I had to blacken out the FPS in these pics, but you can see some very definate differences in the 3 pics.
Look at the ramp edges, and the rafters.
Ok here are two pics from UT 2003 demo. 1st pic is No FAA-16x 2nd pic is FAA-16x on. Enjoy !
