Liz... I sympathise re the room-mates, I get cut off all the time because they're too lazy to walk the 5 minutes to the pizza shop! I can't sympathise with the UT2003 demo problems because I'm too busy being envious!

both of those errors would be related to DirectX, so if the DLL trickery doesn't work then you could try reinstalling DirectX 8 (it might even come included on the UT2003 CD). This would require that you have more than 1 meg to spare, of course...
Do other games work fine? Try running DXDIAG (Start -> Run... -> DXDIAG) and see if it reports any errors.Comment
