G450 and NWN (directx ?)

    G450 and NWN (directx ?)

    Hope someone can answer this one.

    I'm at work using a Matrox DualHead G450. I know it's an AGP card w/ 32 megs of DDR RAM, well capable of running NWN.

    Anyways, when I go to configure it, it can't detect the video card at all. It says there is 0 MB of RAM avail.

    I ran dxdiag and saw that directx was not detecting mem on the card either!

    HELP!!

    Have you installed the latest drivers?
    Specs:
    MSI 745 Ultra :: AMD Athlon XP 2000+ :: 1024 MB PC-266 DDR-RAM :: HIS Radeon 9700 (Catalyst 3.1) :: Creative Soundblaster Live! 1024 :: Pioneer DVD-106S :: Western Digital WD800BB :: IBM IC35L040AVVN07

      Ya...I just installed v5.84

        Well I figured it out......I had netmeeting installed on the computer. For some dumb reason it disables D3D when its running. So if you quit it, it'll free it up. Weird and silly.......

        hopefully I helped some other people out.

        Now on to wasting time at work with my module
