Can Half Life be played in Surround Mode (3 monitors)?

Has anyone tried playing Half Life in Surround Mode?

I really want to play that game in surround mode since I still play that game often online.

Find out a way for HL to do custom resolutions and then I can show you a way to do 3 monitor gaming with it.

In other words, no, it won't work. It has FOV adjustable, but custom resolutions is a no go unless someone out there has any clue on how to get it.

try using these console commands:

vid_config_x 3072
vid_config_y 768

it is actually based on a tweaked quake1 engine, AFAIK I think valve added colored lightning and improved animations by themselves, it has many simillarities with the quake2 engine but there are differences, for example(IIRC) halflife supports colored lightning in software, quake2 doesn´t.

been there, done that, Maggi. No go with HL it's really it's own engine now anyhow, with a few ties to Quake.
