WC III with G550 - Looks very slow.. why?

Hello all,

I have installed Warcraft II last night and noticed that it runs very slow if the video setting is changed to support 32bit colors..

The default setting (16 bit colors) works but I wanted to try other settings such as larger resolution / higher bit colors.

With any higher seetins, mouse speed goes down significantly. Anyone experienced the same thing? Is there any way to fix this problem?

Yes, same thing here on my g400 max. Therefore, I play with 1024x768x16 with medium details. I guess it is a matter of the card showing its age... It is smooth as silk on my athlon 2000+ and Radeon 8500 128MB, even with all details set to high with a 1600x1200x32 resolution.

That is weird.. Cause I have G550 and it can't go to 1024x768x16... I tried that and samething.. Mouse is very slow..
