Drivers boost?

I was just wondering the chances of matrox bringing up the performance of the parhelia 15/20% like ATI and Nvidia did with their drivers?

have matrox been able to do this in the past with the g200/g400?

Well, reporting to some people who tested an illegal (leaked) driver the 3dMark score went up by ~400 points. Also somebody said that Americas Army is running better with that drivers. Of course this doesn't mean that much for the next official drivers, but I guess we will see another performance boost when they will be available.

I think Haig said somewhere that the drivers can boost around 10% performance compared to the first official drivers.

yeah it did me a boost in 3dmark 8100 to 8500 so its a big boost ore just a lucky 3dmark

I get on my Abit BE6-2 with PIII-800 CPU and 512MBSdram a score of 4100 with my retail P
Is that ok or should it be higher on a system like mine?

I got about 4500 on mine, and my system is P2@850mhz w/ 384mb of RAM. So that's about right.

Btw. i used the default settings.
Using 32bit textures instead of comressed will raise the score by 150......
But who cares.....the P is fast enough for me,brilliant IQ,stable drivers,thats what counts for me
