  • Neverwinter Nights is fixed!

    Hey Guys,
After serious debugging we finally fixed the problem where it randomly crashes to the desktop, the fix should be in the upcoming drivers. Note that there's also going to be a patch from Bioware which involves the same thing, stay tuned on that. If there's problems with other games let us know,
    Thanks,

    Thank GAWD.

Now maybe I won't have to read 20-30 e-mails every day about this one bug.

I think it has something to do with masochism, last year's technology, yesterday's hardware mixed with a heavy dose of zealotism.

EDIT: do note the - I'm a UNIX systems engineer (just to be on the safe side before I get flamed)

I always thought it was one of those creatures from the blue lagoon

I figure it does what I want and allows me to do what I want, so I like it more than Windows.

Edit: At least it already supports USB 2.0 which Windows XP won't support fully 'til SP1

                    hehe, perfect description!

and before i get flamed for this i used to use Linux very heavily and fairly exclusively on not only my systems but also several systems i used to admin for the school i attended... and then i saw the light and switched to FreeBSD

I tried FreeBSD and it didn't agree with me too much, so I went back to using linux. Either way, Matrox needs to release their XFree86 driver (so all us poor sods can use their favorite OS (except those poor saps who insist on running Win9x))

Finally, that was kind of a disapointing thing, just as i would be starting to enjoy a portion of the module, whamo...Crash

My question is, when are the new drivers going to be released??? Though right now I'm more concerned with getting linux drivers. Parhelia is a great card, and it'd only be greater if I could use my favorite OS with it :-)
