Now's the best time to start getting better Novdid. Half the people playing UT2003 are new, and the other half still haven't figured out all the tricks.

(Dunno when we'll do it again, though. Seems awful tough to get people to play lately. Also, setting a time that's acceptable by people is tough, since MatroxUsers are spread everywhere around the globe. )

        tru dat...

we have to play on a sunday morning or something...o/w it's almost impossible to get everyone together...

I dunno if it's just me or what, but somehow I think CTF is more clan match suitable than BR, but thats probably just me...

keep me posted when you guys are ready and we'll have another game! i can't wait

I wasn't able to be around this past weekend but would like to join in on the next possible session coming up this weekend. So let us now. I tend to help my team out by being the best frag bait around.

Just join on the #[MU] irc channel on irc.enterthegame.com

I'll be playing off and on all weekend, so message me there. I've started playing quite a bit on an InstaGib / Bombing Run server I found recently, and it's really a lot of fun (recharge rate has been slowed a bit for the instagib rifle on this server, so it's not so easy to do the old UT Sniper Rifle pif-pif-pif bit, either. ). Feel free to try it out, even if I'm not playing when you come online.

Server's info: name, so you can look through your Bombing Run server list in the UT2003Demo, and the IP, so if you'd rather just bring down the console (~ key) and open it directly (type 'open' followed by the IP):

              Name: [CSHP] Rogue{69}InstaGib
              IP: 129.120.160.16

Hope I see some of you there this weekend.

I just played on the server mentioned above. 2nd time playing bombing run. I ran it to the worng goal twice before people started yelling at me It starts you out on opposites sidelines everytime you die and I was confused lol

Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

I too have tried (and enjoyed) the instagib on Bombing Run. Even in DM and CTF the instagib "feels" better to me than in UT. I also like the fact that you have a "zoom scope" with instagib now.

On a side note, I have read that the retail version will NOT contain the beautiful LAVA 2 CTF map that the beta had. Also missing will be the Electric Fields BR Map -- the one with the cool rain effect. No mention as to why. Hopefully just an inaccurate rumor.

Cool. I'm heading into that server right now. I've been busy with lawnmower repairs the last day or so, and this is the first I've had time..

As far as those maps go, Beezer, the rumor I heard said something about them being for testing/evaluation purposes, and not properly optimized to the engine (something about the tool used for them too), whatever that means. I liked them in the leak, but what really bugs me is the lack of a few of the maps I'm used to in UT (new versions, of course), like Deck16 and Liandri.

See ya in the server, if you're there.
