Hey Guys,
As Greebe mentioned, the Matrox Apptimizer has been released. What it is, basically an application that optimizes games for Surround Gaming and non-surround so you will get the best performance and visual quality out of your Parhelia. You no longer have to worry about skybox in JK2, or missing GL Extensions, or cockpit not been adjusted in GP4, or even zooming and fov, in Surround Gaming. We do it for you with one click. Battlefield 1942, no more editing, you choose the app and off you go. This will be updated regularly and we're adding many more games. The latest additions include UT2003 Demo, Battlefield 1942 (retail) and Nascar 2002. I welcome your feedback on this. More surprises to come, stay tuned

The application is quite good, but I would like to see the following functionality:
- The application recalls all game locations that have previously been made.
- Quick Launch option from App. So, the user could choose which mode they would like to associate with a given application, and can then simply launch it from there.
- Integration with Matrox Powerdesk. I wouldn't mind having the ability to do all of this within the context of the existing Powerdesk. Since the Apptimizer is really saving game-state data in the form of an .inf file, it seems that the Powerdesk should be able to just as easily parse through the existing file (via registry lookup) and allow the user to do the same thing. Having a separate application has pros/cons...
