I haven't had any problems with Textures, but not all of the sounds play! In the intro it cuts in and out of the dialog.
I have a SBLive 5.1 value card. Drivers were dated 3/18/2002, which I'm pretty sure isn't right (I have downloaded the drivers that are 7/12/2002 and installed them) so something isn't quite right here..... I'll work with it a bit...

Edit: Got the sound working, had to run WMFADist.exe that's on CD1. Beautiful game.Last edited by leech; 3 October 2002, 19:00.Wah! Wah!

Leech, also check the official NOLF2 site, there is a small patch (V 1.1) which has been released yesterday, it solves some sound problems!Specs:
MSI 745 Ultra :: AMD Athlon XP 2000+ :: 1024 MB PC-266 DDR-RAM :: HIS Radeon 9700 (Catalyst 3.1) :: Creative Soundblaster Live! 1024 :: Pioneer DVD-106S :: Western Digital WD800BB :: IBM IC35L040AVVN07

Yeah, downloaded the patch already, in my search to fix the sound. The only two problems I've found so far, is that whenever I would shoot on the 3rd chapter, you could see where the textures meet as the flash of the gun slows everything down to a crawl. it makes it hard in a fire fight. The only other thing I noticed, on the 2nd chapter is that one of the post office box pole thingies flashed brightly, even though it was in a shadow, but it was VERY fast.

3danalyze 1.5.2 does the trick. Here´s the catch: you have to select NOLF.exe as the PRE-RUN EXE and Lithtech.exe as EXE. No DLL requiered. Tick emulate HW TnL caps and hit RUN.
It even runs on a integrated savage4 with almost playable performance (~15 fps) at 640x480x32. I have no doubt it´ll be playable on a G400.
Since I had a KyroII I stated those games "T&L only" are a non-sense and pure Nvidia marketing. Both fixed DX7 T&L and DX8 vertex shaders can be emulated on a SIMD cpu with relative ease even on Direct3d software fallback routines.

just finished the game
stole a lot of time, but was worth every minute
and the game is really fantastic! gfx, sound, atmosphere, story, characters everything is just great!
i think it is much better than UT2003, which is a great game and a lot of fun, but you kinda turn your brain off and only use your reflexes. NOLF2 is in a different league if you ask me.
made one screenshot of the sea which looks awesome (100x better in motion of course).

I picked the game up today for $40. I enjoyed the first, this one is proving to be quite good so far.
A couple questions about sound though.
Does the crossbow make noise?
How about footsteps?
These are both missing, and it's odd, compared to the original NOLF.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
