Hey, Just downloaded the NFSHP2 demo, runs great, looks great but noticed a few minor graphics errors on the sky area. Ive included a screenshot to better illustrate what I'm experiencing.

Is it just me or did EA f**k up another series? After Moto Racer3 and Total Club Manager 2003, this is their 3rd dissapointment of the year....I mean, yeah, ok, the cars look good, but the track looks like shit, not to mention the fact that it's not original (Auvergne anyone?). Also, the handling is terrible, I didn't like it one bit. I've been playing a lot of NFS 4 and 5 over the past few weeks and HP2 seems worse than both of them, at least the Ferrarri is very hard to control. Plus, the thing with the barrels...is there any police force in the world that does that?! I would've liked a realistic game....maybe my opinion will change when I check out the final release, but expectations have definetely dropped upon seeing this poor excuse of a demo

to me, this looks like dropouts from gfx memory.
are you OCing your card ?
Despite my nickname causing confusion, I am not female ...
I havent seen these glitches mentioned above myself.
The ferrari feels thesame as the speedboat in GTA3. Compared to my '95 Porche 911 Turbo fully tuned in nfs5 it feels like its made of concrete or something.
About the bombs dropped from the chopper: It looks plain stupid, they always drop em on the middle of the road, and did i mention it's just plain stupid? I'd rather have a chopper that actually dives towards your car, blowing leafs and sand onto the windshield or something.
Also about the cops: sometimes you get a radio comfirmation of a sighting, but the copcar is still a mile away! i want them to notice me as i speed by, not when i'm not even in sight by a long shot... they even know my color already when there still is a big mountain between me and the cop, arg! And where's my dachboard? I can't believe EA can f*ck up a game like this even after 6 tries. I won't be buying it, that's for sure.

I doubt I'll download the demo. Why release a racing game for PC without cockpit view?
This is what I was worried about {memory being bad} No overclocking, haven't overclocked any since I got my card... I dont seem to have problems in any other games which I found to be odd...

*Sigh* Went back to the previous drivers to try and fix it... Problem's still there... Worst part about this is if I RMA it I really cant afford to be without another card for a month, I need one asap because On average I get 2 programming projects every other week in my CIS Classes...

Final update then I've got to go study... Shouldn't other games exhibit similar problems if its bad memory? I just ran the Reef Demo and didn't experience any texture dropouts during it... This is kind of odd in my opinion, maybe I'm wrong though.
Thanks,
Mike

The sixty-four bit upgrade to the thirty-two bit extension and graphical shell to a sixteen-bit patch to an eight-bit operating system originally coded for a four-bit microprocessor which was written by a two-bit company that can't stand one bit of competition.

EA has consumers, not customers. Hence their "Don't give a rats a$$" attitude.

lol other than the Helicopter {and the sky distortion} i thought the demo was pretty fun.
