  • Seriously Awesome (pun intended)

    Hey guys,

Well, if the stars are aligned and all elements in the Universe are in sync, I should be able to post my Parhelia review later on tonight.

It's been a long process, as I had a number of things to contend with...massive deadline @ work, finding out that a co-worker had basically shammed his status reports (guess who had to try and makeup the work), visit from family last week, etc.

In total, the review is 25 pages in length, and (I believe) will prove to be the most in-depth Parhelia review posted. One hint...it won't be all about the benchmarks.

On top of that, the fine folks @ Matrox have been very kool to me and hooked me up with the Serious Sam2 patch that unlocks Surround Gaming. In short...anybody that has a Surround setup is going to fall in love with this one. Talk about native support for the feature

Anyhow, I cannot tell you how impressed I was with not only the game experience, but the performance. I played almost all the way through the last level...you know, the insane one? It performed like a champ.

Excellent! Thanks typedef! Any idea when that SS:SE patch might be going public?

      Cheers

I beleive it will be at www.nvnews.net when it does come up. As that is the place typedef writes if I'm not mistaken. But it is not there yet

                    Sorry boys...

The stars were not aligned last night

I couldn't log into the server last night, and will have to send out an email, etc. So, I'm hopeful that it will be posted tonight.
