Yeah, saving that avatar is a small gif though, we want high-res textures UberLord!

So, anyone know a tutorial for getting an animation into UTX format?
    Meet Jasmine.

      Beez's UT2K3 map

Just a guess here, Beez, but I'm thinking the Shock Rifle will be the ONLY weapon available, right? Not that there's anything WRONG with that...noooo. I just can't imagine it any other way. I'm not saying you're biased, well, okay I am. At least it isn't a bunch of lame-o miniguns that do the same damage as the assault rifle.
      AMD 2500XP @ 2.3 GHz
      512 MB DDR PC3700 DChann
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro now (s'alright)

Couldn't it just be addded later with a mutator?

The avatars work ok as long as I make them very small...

OK, I'm just about done. Just a little more play-testing and I'll be ready to upload it somewhere. Here's some more screen shots:

What would be a good format to send it in? I can provide a higher quality video or still.

A good format to send what in? The actual map can only be in one format -- .UT2. Otherwise it wouldn't work in the game.

                            I should have quoted this:

I was referring to my avataar, but I suppose now it is too late.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the multiple image suggestion. I think I know how to make it work now, but to be honest, I'm not sure I can afford the additional files sizes now. For each of the pics and custom wallpapers I add, I need to create a UT texture file for it. While my map is only about 750K in size, my texture file is now about 4MB. After zipping everything it's about 2.3MB, which is already kind of a pain for people to download -- especially on 56K.

                              I did include this pic...

Go ahead and send me a couple pics of your animated version and maybe I can get it to work without too much hassle. Something around 256x256 would be good quality.

Hey, breezer, maybe I can send you my old Avatar. It is really scary :-)
Sat on a pile of deads, I enjoy my oysters.
