  • How do I fix garbled Battlefield 1942 graphics.

I get Battle field 1942 to work in triplehead but the graphics around text in game are garbled. The load meter for one level to the next is garbled. Help.

Im running xp service pack and faa isnt enabled. I downloaded the new drivers (2kxp_102_00_042.exe) but in device manager under display adapters for the matrox parhelia the driver tab has driver version 1.0.0.223. I ran battlefield 1942 and still the graphics around text was garbled and the load meter for each level was garled although the line that increases to show the percent loaded looked fine. Please help.

You must of course also install it and not only download it.

Please be sure to uninstall the old drivers first!!! This is ver important for this driver version. After them you should be booted up in VGA. Now you can install the new driver 1.02.

The problem of defect graphics with WinXP SP1 is fixed in this driver, but the cribled texts are still here. You can fix this by disable FAA/16. I have created a onw prefile foir this game to run it without FAA. This new feature in the new driver is very nice and i love this game based settings!!!

uninstall the other set of drivers first, and then install the new ones. it should fix it.

Use the Parhelia uninstaller here: http://www.matrox.com/mga/support/dr.../ftp_util2.cfm
