If it's 3dmark around here they're running, you can bet it's going to be the 2000 version...

When I got my Parhelia, I "downgraded" from a 21" Trinitron to 3 17" Trinitrons. I must say, that while I miss the large screen in games that do not support surround mode, I certainly appreciate the increased screen real estate!

I have my edge screens slightly angled inward and set back just a bit. I did this to minimize the separation between the actual screens because the bezels on my monitors is like 1.75 inches each which comes to 3.25 inches between each. This way it works out to only about 2.5 total.

And yes, the triple screen mode contributed highly to my decision to go with the Parhelia. I've never been happier. Neither has my girlfriend.

Mine's not. She's not seen it yet (away travelling) and when I told her all she said was "well, when we get a new flat we had better make sure there is a study - I'm not having them in our sitting room."

Just wait till she gets back... I told her it was retail therapy because I was missing her...

i must agree on that i really hate it when computer stuff is in the living room.

See, we had the same issue. Our place only has 2 bedrooms, and both are occupied. So the PC is in this little alcove off the kitchen. I very considerately asked if she would hate the idea of 3 screens in a very visible area before I even bought the Parhelia. She knows I'm a computer fiend and was gracious and said, "I know you want it, so go ahead."

Of course, she was absolutely certain that I couldn't get three monitors on my desk. Imagine my look of satisfaction when they did fit ... barely!

But yes, she absolutely loves the 3 screen setup now. She spends more time on the computer than she ever did. The first couple of days I couldn't even get on the damn machine cause she was hoggin' it up! LOL!

Now I've convinced her we need a second Home Theatre PC for the audio/video center. Our 500 CD collection at our fingertips via MP3 encoding, Audigy2, WinXP, a 61" Sony and the cool as hell Coolermaster ATC-610! Muahahahahahaha!

                      I'm dating the perfect girl!
